Before I used think with such positivity I wouldn’t believe that ‘if you think you can you probably will, but if you don’t think you can you probably won’t…. and that’s when things changed. Put your mind to anything you want and you can.

With the dream of such I have, I knew I would fix my first house and sell it to set up for the next adventure of a dream property or one that could become that with some work…ha ha

In May 2024 me and my other half decided we were ready to make the jump. she wanted horses and I wanted goats and a pond in the country.

This is the before pictures when we first bought the house and what we were getting into. Floors sagging holes everywhere in the kitchen.

We set out on a mission and not quite there yet but as of February2026 we are one bathroom and some flooring and in another away from finishing the inside. However the outside needs redone as well. Sure it’s work but with a little persistence things come along and the light at the end gets brigther. Its a slower process when you move in 6 months after just to get out the camper and settled into the house for the first snow the very first night.. a few pictures of where its came to be so far. Joists were ruined through half the house so therefor we might as well replace the interior rim joist. Living room, kitchen,laundry room, bathroom and part of one office all new joists and sub floor. Paneling tore out in all rooms but the addition which gives rustic look and looks well if you paint it black.
